Rev. Werner Trapp

Born on December 23, 1926, in Kassel, Germany, Reverend Werner embarked on a journey that would lead him to become a respected figure in the Christian community. In 1952, he immigrated to Canada with his beloved wife, Helen, marking the start of a new chapter in their lives Reverend Werner dedicated 4.5 years to theological studies, earning the title of Bachelor of Bible Research. His commitment to his faith led to his ordination by the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) in 1970. His service to the PAOC spanned five decades, a dedication that was recognized with a certificate honoring his 50 years of pastoral service.

Since 1947, Reverend Werner has devoted 77 years to Christian ministry, a testament to his unwavering faith and dedication. His community service was acknowledged when he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Even today, Reverend Werner continues to serve as a Chaplain (Padre) for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 190 in Manitoba, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to his community.

Together with Helen, Reverend Werner raised two sons who continue to follow in their parents' Pentecostal faith. Their family life, marked by powerful miracles, serves as a testament to their strong faith.
