Kerry Carlson

Kerry Carlson is the author-illustrator behind The Finn Adventures, a Boulder, Colorado-based picture book series published by her indie press, Tundalaya Publishing. A small-business owner and lifelong underdog-rooter, Kerry started the series with a single belief: kids deserve stories where the underdog wins by being completely, wonderfully themselves.

Finn for the Win! launched in 2026 alongside its hands-on companion, the Finn for the Win! Coloring & Activity Book — together making the perfect duo for little soccer fans, dog lovers, and any kid (ages 3–8) chasing a big, fluffy dream of their own.

When she's not drawing Finn, Kerry runs a small-batch spice business, attends bluegrass festivals in the Rockies, and tries to keep her own real-life Bernedoodle from eating her drafts.
