Laurent Auclair

Laurent Auclair is a French-Australian author, screenwriter and playwright, with credits including international animation co-productions ‘Vic the Viking’, ‘Heidi’, ‘Tashi’ and ‘Pfffirates’ along with the iconic Australian serial ‘Home and Away’ and three full-length plays under his belt, “Love According to the Clash” (2021) and “What Have You Done”(2022) and “French Letter and Leather Cleaner” (2023). His latest short play, "Kill Your Darlings" made it to the Finals of the Short+Sweet Festival Sydney 2024.

He also has feature film scripts in development, three of them have been accolated in various international script competitions (including Best Australian Screenplay at the 2020 Australasian Film Festival of Time) and he has published illustrated books for young readers, along with a collection of 12 dystopian/sci-fi short stories and a children picture book.
