Mona Kasaval

This is Mona Kasaval's first children's book. She is married and has two sons. She resides in South Africa with her family.

The story is based on the family's pet dog named, Oreo.

Even though the story is fictitious, the inspiration and idea of the story came from watching Oreo and his antics as he explored the family garden, and his love for fern plants.

What started of as bedtime stories told to her two sons about 'Oreo's adventures in the garden' has led to the publication of "Oreo, The Great Warrior Dog and the Magical Garden."

The main message of the story is to instil life lessons and promote good moral values. A message delivered by a very lovable furry friend or should I say fur baby.
