Paul Walker

I am a Canadian of Jamaican descent with a deep passion for exploring the complexities of the human experience. My journey into writing began two decades ago as a means to articulate my thoughts and opinions on life, society, and pressing social issues, both locally and globally. While I aspire to dedicate more of my time to writing, I currently balance my creative pursuits with a full-time career in the skilled trades.

My writing journey has taken me through popular web 2.0 platforms, such as Hub-Pages and Live Journal, which inspired me to launch my own blogs focusing on themes like African Spirituality, Black Consciousness, and Human Ethics. In 2019, I penned a book titled “HERU Interface”, which presents my vision for the future of African Spirituality. Although it remains unpublished, I am in the process of revising it for potential publishing.

A lifelong fan of science fiction, my appreciation for the genre flourished in my teenage and early adult years when I realized that what I was seeing in movies and reading in books were all the imagination of someone. Therefore, why couldn’t I do it myself? This conviction came to life in 2024 when I was inspired to write my own science fiction novel, “Quantum Interface.” This story follows a Black tech genius and his AI assistant as they invent a groundbreaking Quantum Entanglement teleportation machine.

Both “Quantum Interface” and its sequel, “Quantum Reckoning”, blend Afrofuturism, science fiction, fantasy, and African spirituality into a captivating narrative. These books are only a continuation of my unique perspective of reality, as I am honored to continue inspiring and entertaining readers from a non-traditional perspective and point of view.
