Micah Miner is the District Instructional Technology & Social Studies Coordinator at Maywood-Melrose Park-Broadview School District 89, near Chicago. He's a dedicated advocate for local and global equity in education. With over 20 years of experience, Micah has served as a K-12 teacher, social studies department chair, instructional technology coach, adjunct professor, and both school and district administrator. He has delivered keynote speeches and participated in panels at state and national conferences on technology, social studies curriculum, and leadership. Micah provides professional development through IL ASCD and is active in ICSS, NSSLA, and ISSLA. Author of "AI Goes to School," Micah contributes to the American Consortium for Equity in Education. He is also a proud husband and father of four and lives in Chicago.
