Julia Hunter is a big adventurer. She loves climbing mountains, endurance running and exploring the extremes in life. That included a 20 year career human spaceflight, running marathons at the north and south poles and providing climbing support for first ascent teams. She is currently on a sailing circumnavigation with her family, where the inspiration for her first book series hit. Enter the enchanting world of "The Adventures of Skylark" - a captivating book series tailored for the imaginations of 3-6 year olds. Following their own family adventures as they circumnavigate on their sailboat SV Skylark, these tales celebrate virtues Julia and her family have found to be fundamental for their adventures.

During her Julia working life, Julia works with companies to transform business in support of a healthy and thriving planet. Julia provides consulting services to guide sustainability strategy, compliance and how to leap to put people and planet at the center of successful business. Her mission in all things is to drive a radical change in our relationship with the natural world, to ignite curiosity in our planet with the hope of generating balance between humanity and nature.
