Jay B. Greene

Jay B. Greene was born, grew up and lives in Sarasota. He studied environmental science and journalism in college and graduated from the University of Florida. His love for stories propelled him into a 40-year career covering health care, government, crime, and the environment for several newspapers across different states.

Jay is the author of Mountain Crossing, Becky, Bone Valley, Nokomis Hospital, and Breakthrough Lies, the first five Jack Kendall Mystery series books. Burning Point will be out in 2027.

He also has published Danger From Space and Flight to the Stars, the first two books in the Tim and Peggy Smith Space Adventure trilogy. Stay tuned for Children of the Stars in 2026.

In 2026, Jay also has published The Wolf Who Liked Spaghetti, the first book in the Hungry Wolf children's picture book series.
