Eric De Sena

Eric De Sena is an internationally renowned archaeologist who lived in Italy and the Balkans for 20 years, working for John Cabot University, the American Academy in Rome, and the American Institute for Southeast European Studies. A National Geographic Explorer, De Sena worked on archaeological projects in Pompeii, Ostia Antica, Rome and many other sites in Tuscany, Lazio, and Abruzzo. He co-directed the Porolissum Forum Project in northwestern Romania with Alexandru Matei and Robert Wanner. De Sena continues to lead AISEES from the USA and teaches undergraduate courses in classical studies and art history.
