Sight Read Drums

I’m James, a drummer and drum teacher with years of experience based in the South East of England.

In 2020, I launched Sight Read Drums on YouTube, a channel dedicated to helping drummers improve their sight reading skills. I expanded to TikTok in 2022, allowing my content to reach an even wider audience.

One of my long-time ambitions was to write a beginner drum book. In 2024, I made this dream a reality with the release of '50 Drum Lessons For Beginners'. The book has been a huge success amongst both my online followers and my private students.

My week is a mix of private teaching, live gigs, and creating online content for drummers all over the world.
