Lucca Floris

Lucca Floris is an autistic and queer writer, poet, musician, and composer born in Maceió, Brazil.

In 2025, he made his independent literary debut with Pequenos Apocalipses ao Meu Redor (“Little Apocalypses Around Me”) and also entered the traditional publishing market with Estilhaços (“Shattered”), released by Editora Perpétuo. That same year, he began publishing the Visagens collection, dedicated to horror stories inspired by Brazilian folklore and popular traditions, while also contributing to several anthologies as a short story writer and poet.

Passionate about fantasy, horror, and science fiction in their many subgenres — as well as poetry infused with nature and magical elements — he deeply believes in the power of literature as a process of self-discovery, healing, connection, and social change. Through his writing, he seeks to craft diverse narratives with equally diverse characters, understanding firsthand the importance of representation in his own personal story.
