Amanda Lopes

Amanda Lopes is a Brazilian writer, a Capricorn, and a full-time bookworm who is always emotionally invested in fictional characters; even when she should probably be doing something else.

She began writing at the age of twelve, when she discovered fanfiction and found a way to spend a little more time inside the stories she loved. Since then, she has contributed to several anthologies, published her first original stories, and found her favorite place in sapphic romance, creating intense characters, complicated love stories, and women who feel everything a little too deeply.

When she is not writing, she is probably drawing, binge-watching a TV series, or crying over a romance movie she swore would not be sad. Amanda believes every story is better when there is at least one couple worth suffering over, obsessing about, and losing sleep for.

She currently lives in Florianópolis, Brazil, with her family, her books, and a concerning number of fictional characters taking up space in her head.
