Tab Stephens

Tab Stephens is a first-time novelist who lives in central Texas with his wife, Keri, a professor at the University of

Texas–Austin. While his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Caltech is quite useful for his day job, he now wishes he had taken writing classes back in college. Thank goodness for editors!

Combining their love of breakfast tacos with a desire to write together, Tab and Keri started frequenting the covered porch of a local BBQ restaurant. While she worked on her academic papers, he explored his creative side. Tab found the process to be both challenging and rewarding.

Tab enjoys cats, anime, fantasy, science fiction, and standup personal watercraft.

He is the second person in his family to purchase a retired metal railroad caboose.
