Debby Buxton writes uplifting contemporary fiction inspired by the real-life experiences, connections and coincidences that have shaped her own life.
Her novels explore love, loss, friendship, hope and the possibility that life may be more connected than we realise. Drawing inspiration from her travels, the people she has met and the unexpected twists and turns of life, Debby creates stories that encourage readers to think about the curious coincidences in their own lives.
After losing both of her parents within a short period of time, Debby found herself reflecting on grief, healing and the enduring impact of the people we love. Writing became a way of exploring those questions and rediscovering hope. The result was her debut novel, Someday X, the first book in a trilogy inspired by real events.
When she isn't writing, Debby enjoys travelling, outdoor pursuits and seeking out life's small joys — a beautiful view, birdsong, a chance conversation or an unexpected act of kindness.
Through her books and her monthly newsletter, Deb's Bubble, she hopes to offer readers comfort, encouragement and a gentle reminder that there may be more to life than we realise.
