J Michael O'Reilly

J Michael O'Reilly is a writer and teacher living in Dublin. As well as Easy Ulysses, he is the author of a number of novels and a stage play on the first meeting in Paris between Samuel Beckett and James Joyce called Sam et Jim a la Coupole. He is also a script writer, and his movie script on the life of Thomas De Quincey - the world's first celebrity drug addict and author of the iconic Confessions of an English Opium Eater - was praised by Oscar winner Jeremy Irons, who said, "I enjoyed it immensely; it kept me amused during lockdown."
