From a bookish perspective I grew up enjoying the timeworn worlds of Raymond Chandler & Philip K Dick, contrasted with the comic wonders of Neil Gaiman & Douglas Adams. These were mixed together with an ever present backdrop of dark Northern humour, and despite mixing with some very nice Southerners I still logically say glass (to rhyme with gas) and path (to rhyme with math). So I became an economic migrant to London at an early age and I am finally a first time novelist, taking inspiration from those above, and appealing to anyone who might have lived through either the 1980s or the 2020s. If you take a peek inside this first book you'll see it provides a pretty fair contrast between these two decades and I hope you enjoy it.
