Jecca Maxwell

Jecca lives in a cottage in rural Perthshire, Scotland, with her two plump chihuahuas. She loves travelling, long walks through graveyards, and spending time with friends and family. Her inspiration to paint and write comes from her lifelong love of the characters within children’s literature, such as Mary Plain the Bear, Orlando the Marmalade Cat, Eloise, and The Worst Witch, as well as from spending time with her two nieces. She hopes her stories will be as valuable to children today as all the books she read as a child were to her.
