Emily Molina

Emily Molina is a freelance writer in the South Puget Sound region of Washington, where she has lived with her retired army veteran husband and two children since 2014. She is a former international flight attendant now specializing in lifestyle, food and travel writing, and her work has been published in numerous media outlets including South Sound Magazine, Northwest Travel & Life Magazine, Northwest Yachting Magazine, 48 Degrees North Magazine and 425 Magazine, among others. A lover of both history and the sea, with a thirst for learning about people and those who came before, she is often drawn to historic places, like the Odyssey, in her first book, Tacoma's Tall Ship, The Extraordinary Journey of the Odyssey. It was chasing a story that led her to the Odyssey, creating a new love and magnificent memories and inspiring her to learn how to sail.
