Robert Young

Growing up in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, I have been a story teller all my life. My work was often commended and read out in school. I was first published when I won a prize in a poetry competition in 1995 and then again in 1996. At the turn of the century i published a picture book entitled 'ALEC THE AEROPLANE'. In 2004 I joined a group called 'The Ten Penners' and we published a book of short stories and prose entitled "SHOCK HORROR GASP'. In 2005 I published another book entitled 'SHORT STORIES & OTHER STUFF FOR SHORTIES', a collection of short stories and prose for children. 'BRIONY FAIRY OF DANCE' came next. I have been submitting short stories and poetry to compendiums published by STARS {Screen Theatre and wRiters Studios} for a number of years. My latest book entitled 'WENDY THE MODERN WITCH' is now available.
