Fernando Ors

Fernando Ors is a European-born American economist with more than twenty years of experience as a strategy consultant, digital entrepreneur, venture capitalist, alternative investments expert, and bestselling author.

He holds a double degree in Business Administration and Economics, an MBA from IESE, and a Master’s degree in Finance from CEF. He has also completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford, MIT, and Berkeley.

He is currently Chairman of Reental, CEO of Savia Group, and General Partner of Virtuous Capital. He combines executive leadership with active investment and entrepreneurial involvement in disruptive companies across finance, tokenization, and artificial intelligence.

His previous executive roles include CEO of BrightStar Coral Gables (acquired by Peak Rock Capital), Global Vice President of the Canadian consulting and SaaS firm FreeBalance, President in the United States of Intralot, CEO of Codere Interactiva (NASDAQ: CDRO), and Corporate CBDO of Codere Group (BME: CDRE). During his tenure at Codere Group, the company grew to more than twenty thousand employees, increased revenues and profits tenfold, and completed a successful IPO at unicorn valuation.

Beyond his corporate work, Fernando dedicates around 10% of his time to the integral development of young people, focusing on body, mind, and spirit. This commitment has led him to publish more than 40 BookFlix titles: short books designed to be read in a single sitting, encouraging meaningful reading habits in place of passive screen consumption.

In his personal time, he enjoys being with his family and friends, watching films inspired by real events, playing the saxophone and clarinet, and practicing martial arts. He lives with his wife and two daughters on a small island in Miami.
