Kaakyire Caleb Buah

Kaakyire Caleb is a contemporary literary writer whose writing broadly covers all the three aspects of literature: Drama, Poetry and Prose. He was born and bred at Asankran Oda Kotoamso, a town in the West of Ghana, West Africa. He had his basic education at Great Expectation Preparatory and Junior High School, his secondary education at Kumasi Elite College. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education, English (BEd English) from the Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapre.

Kaakyire started his writing journey at age fifteen with rhymes in secondary school as he studied Elective Literature. His inspiration at this age greatly came from Shakespeare's poems, and a few others such as Oswald Mutsali's "Boy on a Swing". Among his published stories -- all which can be found and purchased on Amazon -- include "The Return of the Princess" (play), "The Woes of Konama" (novel), "My Ghost Friend" (children's short story with rhymes), "The Door of No Entry" (children's short story) and the most recent one is "One Blood, One Vessel: Twins in Love" (novel). Kaakyire has a few more stories under development and will shortly be released for publication.

Kaakyire is currently based in Birmingham, England, where he looks forward to having his Masters and Doctorate in English language.
