About Me
Writing has always been more than just a creative outlet for me; it’s been a calling. From the moment I could string sentences together, I was crafting stories, weaving intricate plots, and losing myself in worlds of my own creation. There’s something deeply powerful about storytelling, about creating something from nothing and watching it come to life on the page. Over the years, my passion for writing has evolved, leading me to publish two books, ghostwrite for others, and experiment with a variety of genres, including fantasy, romance, and fan fiction.
I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, a place that shaped much of who I am today. I’ve always had a deep love for my home, from its ever-changing seasons to the passionate sports culture that runs through it. I’m an avid sports fan, the kind who lives for the highs and lows of the game, whether it’s football, basketball, or baseball. There’s something about the energy of a crowd, the tension of a close match, and the triumph of victory that mirrors the way I approach storytelling, full of emotion, stakes, and an unwavering passion.
Beyond writing and sports, I have always felt a deep connection to nature. The earth and its creatures have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Whether I was exploring the woods near my home, marveling at wildlife documentaries, or volunteering with local conservation efforts, my love for animals has always been a defining part of my life. That passion led me to pursue a Zoology Certification in my free time, further deepening my understanding of the natural world. Studying animal behavior, ecosystems, and conservation efforts has not only been personally fulfilling but has also found its way into my writing, inspiring the way I craft the creatures and environments in my fantasy worlds.
My love for storytelling started young. As a child, I was the kind of person who could get lost in books for hours, utterly consumed by the worlds within them. The idea that words could transport someone into another reality fascinated me. It didn’t take long before I started writing my own stories, small at first, scribbled in notebooks, but eventually growing into something more. What began as a hobby became a deep and abiding passion, one that I knew I wanted to pursue beyond just personal enjoyment.
Over the years, I explored different storytelling styles and genres, from fantasy epics to heartfelt romance. I loved experimenting with tone, perspective, and structure, always pushing myself to improve and refine my voice. My journey into professional writing started with fan fiction, a space where I could freely express my creativity and learn from an active, engaged community.
Through writing fan-fiction and short stories, I honed my ability to create compelling characters, develop immersive settings, and evoke strong emotions in readers. It was in these early years of writing that I truly understood the power of connection through storytelling; how readers could resonate with a character’s struggles, triumphs, and personal growth.
Eventually, my passion for storytelling led me to ghostwriting. Writing for others is an entirely different experience than writing for myself, but it was a challenge I wholeheartedly embraced. As a ghostwriter, I had to adapt my style to match different voices, visions, and tones while still maintaining strong, engaging narratives. I worked on various projects, including ghostwriting songs and romance short stories. There was something incredibly rewarding about helping bring someone else's ideas to life, ensuring their stories resonated with audiences just as powerfully as if they had written them themselves.
Despite my work in different genres, fantasy has always been my true creative home. There’s something endlessly fascinating about world-building—about constructing vast landscapes, cultures, and histories that feel as real as the world we live in. That’s what led me to begin work on Paragon’s, my five-book fantasy series.
My experience with publishing my first two books was both exhilarating and educational. Writing a book is one journey, but getting it into readers’ hands is another entirely. From editing and revisions to navigating the publishing process, I learned a great deal about what it takes to bring a story from a rough draft to a finished product. Each book taught me something new—about pacing, about character arcs, about the importance of tightening prose and refining dialogue. Those lessons have shaped me as a writer and continue to inform my work today.
Writing isn’t always easy. There are moments of self-doubt, of feeling stuck in the middle of a story, of wondering if the words on the page will ever match the vision in my mind. But despite the challenges, I always come back to it. Because at the heart of it all, I love what I do. I love creating. I love storytelling. I love the idea that a reader somewhere, someday, might connect with something I wrote, might feel seen in a character’s journey, or might find comfort in the words I put on the page.
Now, as I continue working on Paragon’s, I’m excited for what’s ahead. This series is the most ambitious project I’ve ever undertaken, and I’m pouring everything I’ve learned over the years into it. It’s a story I can’t wait to share with the world, and I hope it resonates with readers as deeply as it does with me.
Writing has shaped my life in ways I never could have imagined, and I know my journey is just beginning. Whether I’m working on my own books, ghostwriting for others, or experimenting with new storytelling techniques, I’m always looking for ways to grow and evolve as a writer. Because at the end of the day, stories are what connect us. And I can’t imagine a life without them.
