I was born in Angola and, due to the context of the war and the decolonization process, returned with my family to Portugal shortly after the 25th of April, 1974. In Portugal, I restructured my life and achieved an academic background with a bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management and a degree in Informatics. Between 2010 and 2016, I had the opportunity to return to Angola, an experience that broadened my global perspective and solidified my commitment to innovation and social justice.
My professional journey has been marked by the use of technology to solve complex challenges. The rapid evolution of artificial intelligence and digital transformation has allowed me to turn my concerns and observations about the world into meaningful texts. Writing has become a way to explore and share my analyses of current problems and propose innovative solutions.
Degree in Informatics and Bachelor's in Information Management. Throughout my career, I have held various positions and roles, including analyst/programmer, SAP consultant, Senior SAP consultant, IT Development Department head, technical director, banking auditor (IT specialization), trainer, university lecturer, and logistics and administrative services manager.
While carrying out these positions and roles, divided between Portugal and Angola, I have had the opportunity to engage with various sectors of economic activity such as industry, banking, insurance, construction, and commerce.
My Motivations for Writing
My drive to write stems from a deep analysis of the issues faced by our societies, including educational deficiencies and the emotional and psychological vulnerabilities that affect many individuals. The lack of a strong personal identity and the distortion of belonging—often manipulated by external interests—are matters that deserve attention. Conventional solutions often fail to effectively address these issues.
Education often does not respond to the real needs of students, resulting in a lack of preparation to face the challenges of modern life. Emotional and psychological vulnerabilities, combined with an identity challenged by obsolete social models, contribute to a crisis of belonging and self-esteem. These issues are frequently exacerbated by a system that does not provide adequate support for personal and emotional development.
I propose a profound restructuring of existing democratic regimes, which, despite being the most socially just, often fail in their effectiveness and the implementation of their fundamental principles. To this end, I advocate the creation of a new regime that I have called technomeritocracy, a governmental structure that uses artificial intelligence to promote efficiency, justice, and innovation.
Technomeritocracy integrates principles of meritocracy with the power of technology to create a more transparent and responsive system. This new regime proposes practical solutions to current social and political problems, aiming for a more effective model that can adapt to rapid changes and better meet the needs of populations.
Through my books, I seek not only to explore these issues but also to offer concrete proposals for a more just, informed, and resilient society. The goal is to promote greater critical awareness and encourage the pursuit of solutions that can lead to a more equitable and sustainable world.
I strongly advise against opening or purchasing my books, as they might not align with your values, ideologies, or principles. My work explores unconventional ideas that only a select few might find intriguing or worthwhile. These books challenge mainstream perspectives and might not resonate with most readers.
If you prefer to stick to familiar concepts and widely accepted beliefs, my books are probably not for you. However, if you are among the rare individuals who enjoy questioning the status quo and exploring alternative viewpoints, you might just find them intriguing.
