Michael Creekmore

Michael is an Elementary School Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina and his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Clark Atlanta University. He is classically trained as a mental health professional and transitioned into school counseling. Michael brings that expertise and experience into the school system. His extensive background in mental health translates well due to his primary focus in childhood and adolescence. Michael also serves as a member of the school district Emergency Response Team which handles school crises involving deaths of students or staff members. Through Michael Creekmore LPC, he continues to serve as a consultant for local mental health agencies and provides clinical supervision to associate licensed therapists seeking to gain full licensure. He also co-owns Creekmore Conversations with his wife Nita Creekmore. Together, they focus on educator well-being and school relationships.
