Erica D'Arcangelo

Erica D’Arcangelo is a storyteller, author, and content creator. She grew up in a traditional Catholic Italian family with her parents and 4 siblings. After attending college and earning degrees in Communications, Advertising, and Journalism. she began her career in the digital marketing industry opening a content creation company in 2013. In 2018, she made her way home, and while running her agency saw that her family-owned pizzeria needed some marketing. Erica worked alongside her father as a content creator for the business. During this time, she revisited her history and heritage with her father and the story of her grandfather, Pietro (Pete) as he opened up D’Arc’s Pizza in 1960. Moved by this story, Erica wrote a book loosely based on Pietro’s life, called, ‘A Story About Pizza’. The book follows Pietro as he immigrates from Italy to America, working as a coal miner for the Berwind-White Coal Company in Windber, PA to his pizzeria. This launch is the first in a series that will highlight pursuing your passion against all odds, positivity, family, Italian culture, and, of course, pizza. She then wrote Pietro’s Pizza, Pietro's Pizza Toppings, and Pietro's Italian Christmas launching the A Story About Pizza Children’s Series.
