Bob Sabath

Bob lives in his home in Mt. Rainier, Maryland with his beloved Jackie and their beloved cat Oscar. He describes himself as boy mystic, Fourth Way wisdom worker, grandpa, lover of heart conversation, and apprentice to night stars. Jackie and Bob have two children, Peter and Kathryn (along with their beloveds Zsofi and Josue). He says his most important job is being grandpa.

Bob holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University, Master of Divinity in New Testament Studies and Languages from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Shalem Institute. He is a former Director of Web and Digital Technology at Sojourners Magazine, a current Director of Friends of Silence, a current board member with Cynthia Bourgeault and Wisdom Waypoints, a Convener Emeritus of the local Chapter of Illuman East Coast Collaborative which offers Rites of Passage wilderness events founded by Richard Rohr at Center of Action and Contemplation, and is actively involved in Fourth Way inner work with Cynthia Bourgeault, Cynthia’s students, and the Claymont Society for Continuous Education in Charlestown West Virginia.
