Dr. Carson Robertson earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Montana and his doctor of chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Over the last 19+ years his office has evolved into a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic, bringing the best treatments from multiple providers and disciplines to solve patients’ problems.
The clinic has several treatment rules, including teaching treatment principles so patients have the best ability to improve their quality of life while preventing future injuries. For chronic and acute pain, the most important clinic rules are to bring the best tools to the problem, have multiple treatment options, change strategy when the treatment plan is not working, and be creative in solving problems and road blocks.
Dr. Robertson has also been a college instructor of anatomy and physiology. Teaching students and educating patients are very similar; they both require finding unique ways to express ideas and provide relatable examples (which you will see in his books).
No stranger to putting stress on his body and overcoming injury, Dr. Robertson has run multiple marathons and ultra marathons, including the Boston Marathon, Rim to Rim across the Grand Canyon, and Javelina 100 Miler. His dogs Frances and Lola provide therapy and wiggles in the office. Lately he spends his free time teaching his young sons, Max and Noah, the importance of jeeps, motorcycles, dogs, home improvement, and keeping Mom on her toes.
