I am originally from the Free State and stopped briefly in the Eastern Cape. I come from a family who love languages and writing and is the second to achieve publication status. I write novels, poetry, and suspense but excel in storytelling. My talent as a raconteur originated from tales my mother talked about of Kestell and the characters who graced the small town. The stories informed, entertained, and were rich with descriptive language, parody, and sadness, and I was beguiled from a young age.

When I am not writing you’ll find me reading David Baldacci, Karen Slaughter, Val Mcdermit, Dalene Matthee, Colin Dexter, Dan Brown, the History of Scotland, a recipe for oxtail, “How to Repair Anything” or an article about the paranormal. I published my first book in 2015 followed by two other books by a different publisher. I write in English and Afrikaans and published another 6 books in the following years. There are a few earlier manuscripts I keep in an arsenal that includes children’s and adult fantasy that just need a bit of dusting off and who knows?

My stories flow seamlessly. It is both entertaining and includes a research list for the curious at heart. I have a lyrical writing style that makes it impossible to put the book down, so you’ll be done with a book too soon, crestfallen on leaving the wonderful characters between the pages!

Don’t despair because there will be a new book soon!
