Adam James Pollock is a writer based in Ireland who has been published on topics ranging from food and cooking to politics, history and the countryside. His work has been published in publications such as The Spectator, The Critic, UnHerd, and others. He was shortlisted for the Emerging Voice Award at the 2024 Irish Food Writing Awards for his book Sustenance: A Guide to Good Food, which explains in depth the terminology, techniques and equipment needed to create restaurant quality food at home. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
