Dave Zeiger

Hi... I'm Dave Zeiger writing with Anke Wagner.

We design, build and sail our own vessels as living platforms, sailing engine-free among the islands of Southeast Alaska. Most of this is remote, wet and wild... we are responsible for our own safety in the face of considerable challenge.

Though we're often underway, with good friends across the region, our home port of many years is Tenakee Springs, Alaska.

Over the decades we've collected and 'refined' (understood as 'simplified' aka 'dumbed-down) attitudes, approaches and tactics which further our independence and extend our time on the water.

I've shared much of what we've learned from books, mentors and our own, unique experiences through our blog under the name Dave Z at TriloBoats. We are beginning a series of theme-focused books collecting, refining and extending those posts.
