I'm passionate about people and purpose; about learning and how it empowers; about expression and meaning through discovery.

I earned my PhD in Classical Studies from Boston University, where my dissertation was guided by Jeffrey Henderson. I hold a BA from Luther College, where I double-majored in Latin and Greek. My journey in classical studies began at Captain Shreve High School, a public school in Shreveport, Louisiana, where I was born.

My education was deeply enriched by my mentor, Donald Carne-Ross, through the study of the Greek Anthology, focusing on Anyte and Erinna. I also contributed to significant academic projects, working under Wolfgang Haase on "Aufstieg und Niedergang der römischen Welt" and the "International Journal of the Classical Tradition."

I've taught at Boston University and Austin College and worked at major publishing houses such as McGraw-Hill and Cengage Group. I've also been a leader in learning technology at Cerego and Memre. In late 2023, I founded Bountisphere, followed by the establishment of Westbrae Literary Group in June 2024, where I serve as the first Editorial Director.
