Jerry Stephens

Hey, just an old guy here, loving life and full of fun! I write religious stuff, but with a unique perspective. Casual humor, and great info, but I think the Big Fella wants to talk with interesting people about interesting things. I studied to be a Catholic priest, but decided that girls would be a wonderful addition to my life. Being a family man has been filled with love, chaos, unpredictability and excitement. My lovely wife, Darlene will celebrate 61 years with me in a couple of months. Now I'm still full of energy, mischief, and ... a love of God, which I'd like to share through my writing.

We have three sons, one in California, one here in southeast Arizona with us, and, well, we lost one many years back. I'm beating back a bit of cancer, and winning, but keeping busy with my great sports ability for bad golf and worse bowling. Also putting a ton of miles on my bicycle. Darlene has us landing in a gated community, but I would love to find a cabin in the woods somewhere, with a stable, a lake, a dock, a boat and a fishing pole. My favorite place is on top of a good mountain horse in snowy woods ... but, that may need to be a slightly younger me.

My books: The Question Corner, The Beauty of the Catholic Faith, and Enjoy the Journey - life to life. I may start trying a more intense marketing, so I can leave a legacy of love for seekers after faith.
