James M. Pegues

My name is James M Pegues. I started writing poetry when I was a teenager. Down through the years I have written many poems for and about family and friends. About twenty years ago I began to write plays. When I started writing my first play, I could not sleep at night because it was coming to me so fast. I have written and produced several plays. I even had my own production company. I hope to resume producing plays in the near future. Two years ago, I decided to turn one of my plays into a book, Mother Knows Mess. Writing is a big part of my life and I have no plans of stopping. Hopefully, this is just the first book of many and working on sequel now.
