Christopher Schmehl

I started reading mysteries when I was about seven, and then I discovered my love for fantasy and science fiction. It didn't take long for me to realize that writing was what I wanted to do, was meant to do.

Authors who have had the biggest influence on my writing include: Peter David, Roger Zelazny, Ray Bradbury, and Michael Jan Friedman.

I was involved in the Boy Scout troop at my church growing up, thus my parents were too. I earned my Eagle Scout rank and worked summers at Hawk Mt. Scout Reservation as a camp counselor.

At Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, I met my future wife Eileen Murphy from New England. We've been together ever since. Our boys are grown and living their best lives.
