D.J. Hicks

Ever since I was a little kid, I loved stories, movies, and writing little pieces here and there. It wasn't until I was older that I noticed I had a talent for writing. I remember hearing a knock on the door when I was 12 years old. It was two friends from the neighborhood. I was peeking from the small slit of my bedroom door, barely cracked open. After telling my friends to wait, my dad closed the door and looked at me, and with the expression on my face, he knew my answer. I didn't want to go outside to play I was busy writing a story.

Later in life, all of those movies with just the right style of suspense and mystery paid off for me. I've read my share of novels as well, that's when I started my path to writing them.
