Born in Switzerland, Chris Arro is a writer, teacher, and explorer of the inner world. After studying economics and founding several businesses, a spiritual awakening at 31 profoundly altered his path. This experience shook him from a life lived on autopilot, prompting him to question everything he once valued. He chose solitude at the edge of a forest, dedicating himself to meditation, contemplation, and the study of Buddhist philosophy.
During his time in the wild, reading inspired him, and writing emerged as a natural extension of his journey. Today, Chris nurtures his passion for storytelling, crafting poetic and humorous fables that explore themes of self-discovery, connection, and the nature of reality.
Chris’s work resonates with two types of readers: those who find profound meaning in a word or sentence and those who enjoy the stories for their narrative. Writing in both French and English, he blends styles and genres to create unique tales. His recent work was shortlisted for the 2024 Swiss Literary Prize, marking a significant milestone. With three books completed and another in progress, Chris continues to share his insights through writing.
