Louis Professor James

Emeritus Professor at the University of Kent at Canterbury. A pioneer in the two fields of Caribbean, modern literature, and popular Victorian Drama. Since publishing his first book in 1979 to the present day, Professor Louis James has been a prolific author, lecturer, editor and mentor to young writers. Books published by Oxford University Press, Penguin Books, Routledge, and Wiley. Taught at the following institutions in residence: Hull University (UK), University of the West Indies (Kingston, Jamaica), University of South Carolina (Columbia, USA), University of Nigeria (Ibadan, Nigeria), University of Colorado (Boulder, USA), Nanyang University (Singapore), and University of Kent (Canterbury, UK).
