Philosopher, Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Musician.

I was born in Milan in 1971.

I have been registered in Section A of the Professional Register of the Lombardy Order of Psychologists since April 23, 2009 (registration number 03/12736), with the professional titles of Psychologist and Psychotherapist.

I specialized in Psychotherapy in 2013 in Milan, at the Italian Institute of Group Psychoanalysis.

I earned a degree in Psychology in 2007 from the University of Milan-Bicocca, with a thesis on the classification hypotheses of personality disorders in the transition from DSM-IV to DSM-V.

I earned a degree in Philosophy in 1996 from the University of Milan, with a thesis on Bergson's concept of time.

I graduated in Flute Performance in 1991 from the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory of Music in Milan.

My interests include classical music, musicology, musical aesthetics, literature, philosophy, and psychoanalysis.

I am an avid reader of Borges, Kafka, and Proust, but also of Anglo-American spy and action novels.

In these works, I propose avenues for research and engage in aesthetic reflections starting from the premise of the independence of the aesthetic fact from the external circumstances of its creation—such as historical, biographical, and geographical aspects. In other words, the aesthetic meaning of a musical work coincides neither with the analysis of the score nor with historical-biographical reconstruction. The method adopted combines phenomenology (observation of the phenomenon) and psychoanalysis (listening to lived experience). The goal is to outline a kind of aesthetic mapping of works, composers, and performers based on criteria intrinsic to the aesthetic fact itself.

This treatise addresses the question: Is metaphysics still possible today? A work of high-level philosophical theorizing, it leads the reader to rediscover the possibility of metaphysical inquiry starting from Henri Bergson's idea of "involuntary memories," using a method that involves the three dimensions of time and dreams—interpreted in an alternative way compared to Freud.

Kafka's work lends itself to numerous interpretations: theological, Jewish, Marxist, sociological, Freudian. In this text I argue that Kafka's work anticipates all of these interpretations and encompasses them all, concealing within itself a meta-meaning yet to be discovered.

In my novels and in my short stories, a recurring feature has been the setting in a pre-internet, pre-smartphone, and pre-social network era, evoking deliberately "outdated" tastes and atmospheres. These works fall within the fantasy-thriller genre, enriched with philosophical, literary, and musical references, and—hopefully—not devoid of humor.
