Virginia Davis

Virginia Davis is the author of two other children's books: The Irises' Secret and The Flowers on Apple Hill. Both reflect her love for nature and history as well as highlight the importance of family. Crisscross, The Crooked Beak Peacock was inspired by a real peacock she once spotted riding on top of an old yellow van.
