Hal Movius

Dr. Hal Movius is President of Movius Consulting, a global consultancy that helps leaders and organizations to reach more valuable agreements while preserving reputations. He is also a research collaborator at NYU’s Ethical Systems and the Virginia Affective Neuroscience lab and has taught MBA and executive courses at the Darden Graduate School of Business and the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. His published research focuses on negotiation, confidence, emotion regulation, and organizational development.

He is the author of Resolve: Negotiating Life's Conflicts with Greater Confidence (2017, LifeTree Media) and co-author of Built to Win: Creating a World Class Negotiating Organization (2009, Harvard Business Press). He lives in Virginia with his wife and two children.
