Brad Collis

Brad Collis is a writer and journalist based in Melbourne, Australia. His non-fiction Australian histories, Fields of Discovery [the history of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO)] and Snowy-The Making of Modern Australia have been highly acclaimed. The Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme history, the genesis of Australia's multi-cultural society, has been in print for over 30 years. It has backgrounded two documentaries and a TV mini-series.

His first novel, The Soul Stone, was first published in 1993 and more recently re-edited to create the new Amazon edition.

In his spare time Brad is a keen nature photographer, guitarist and beekeeper.
