BLANCA GATICA

Blanca Gatica was born in Guatemala City, Central America, in August 1962. She attended high school at the Belgian-Guatemalan School "La Sagrada Familia." At 21, she moved to the United States in pursuit of the American dream. Blanca enjoyed a long career in the international public sector in Washington, D.C., where she worked in various fields related to International Development, Management, and Personnel Administration. She studied Translation at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Blanca holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland (UMUC) and a Master's degree in Philosophy from the International School of Management (ISM) in Paris, France, New York, and Shanghai, China. She is passionate about the arts, immigration issues, and animal protection. Blanca currently lives in Maryland, USA.

Blanca is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, she is inspired by intelectual readings on spirituality, regardless of religion as she believes humans can learn from each other regardless of religion.
