C. A. Carpenter

I grew up in Rhode Island, and have had the fortunate opportunity to travel and move all over the United States. My dad was my hero and he introduced me to adventure stories when I was growing up. My love for history, adventure, and interest in the paranormal inspires my writing. I teach high school history and live the life of an adventurer like Indiana Jones vicariously through my writing.

I have taught for over 2 decades and find all too often that kids don't enjoy reading. I didn't enjoy reading until I found a special book that sparked my interest ("The Cay" by Theodore Taylor). My hope is to write books that act as an escape from the day to day and can inspire a new generation of readers.
