August Lindsay grew up in the prairies of western Canada, just a few hours' drive from the Rocky Mountains, the backdrop for her debut novel Scotch & Shortbread. When she's not writing steamy slow burn romance novels, she can usually be found in nature-- hiking, horseback riding and taking the occasional cold plunge! She is equally happy to be curled up in a cozy chair, candles lit, reading or writing. Travelling is high on her list of life priorities, with Scotland being one of her favourite destinations. Her love for Scotland began in 2007 during her first road trip through the Highlands, sparking the inspiration for her Scotch Series. Above all, she treasure's time spent with her friends and family.
