Lillian Hathorne

Lillian Hathorne’s passion for writing this story began since teaching Sunday school many years ago, which inspired her to subsequently earn a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Madonna University. Lillian believes children can appreciate and embrace the stories in the Bible if told with a little imagination.

Lillian is a licensed social worker in Michigan where she earned a master’s degree at Western Michigan University in social work. She is a long-term member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBW). When she is not writing in her spare time, Lillian enjoys reading, running, playing tennis, and spending holidays and dinner with family and friends.
