Dennis Turner (who writes as Denn Turner) is a passionate explorer of Paris and European history, folklore and Romance. His love for these regions’ rich cultures, legends, and tumultuous histories has been the driving force behind his writing career. Originally from California, Dennis is now retired and divides his time between visiting, Europe, and traveling to the United States to visit his children and grandchildren.
Dennis’s fascination with love stories around the world and history began during his numerous travels. This interest culminated in “The Chronicles,” a series and collection of 49 stories that delve into an exciting past, blending historical facts with captivating legends and folklore.
Dennis’s first novel, “The Forest Valkyries,” intertwines fiction with historical events, focusing on lesser-known tales of World War II resistance activities in Eastern Europe. This work showcases his ability to blend historical fact with compelling storytelling.
The Road to Vabadus - A KGB Love Story” is Dennis’s fourth published book and second novel. It intertwines love stories and fiction with historical events of resistance activities in Estonia and behind the Iron Curtain.
His current series “Romance around the World” has seven planned novels featuring tour guide David Fletcher and his adventures.
When not writing or traveling, Dennis enjoys reading historical fiction and nonfiction works His unique perspective, gained from extensive travel and immersion in these cultures, brings authenticity and depth to his storytelling.
