Jessie Wall

Jessie Wall was born in the small fishing village of St. Lawrence, Newfoundland. At the age of 1 her parents made the decision to move to Toronto, Ontario. The move would provide the family more opportunities for work and resources. Growing up in Toronto, Jessie witnessed both the struggles and resilience of a large tight-knit family, experiences that today, deeply inform her writing.

As an author, Jessie wishes to explore themes of courage, empathy and the human spirit, drawing on her own life journey. Her work includes heartfelt children's books like Swim Away, a story about a tiny goldfish with big dreams, and a poignant memoir, *Secrets - A Memoir of a Childhood in the shadows of Schizophrenia, Alcoholism & Poverty. It delves into the shadows of her upbringing.

In addition to writing, Jessie is a watercolor and acrylic artist. As a result, has created Traceables for Painting Books on Amazon as well. These are images that can be traced and painted using watercolor paints.

Jessie is passionate about helping others find their voice and courage through storytelling, whether its through her books or paintings.

She currently resides in Waterloo, ON, where she continues to write, create and hopefully inspire others on their own journeys.
