Dean Butler

Dean Butler has spent more than fifty years studying, teaching, and sharing the Word of God. His desire is simple: to help people understand what Scripture actually says and to point them to Jesus Christ.

Dean holds an Associate Degree in Christian Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling. After years of ministry and teaching, retirement gave him more time to study, write, and encourage others in their faith.

He is the author of several Christian books and writes a Bible column that has appeared in several newspapers across Wyoming. He also writes The Other Side of Amen, a Bible-teaching blog and website devoted to clear, practical, Scripture-centered teaching.

Dean’s approach to the Bible can be summed up in a phrase he often uses: “Let’s see what God says.” He writes for ordinary people who want to know God’s Word better, grow stronger in their faith, and follow Jesus Christ more faithfully.
