Peter Harris is Associate Professor of Political Science at Colorado State University and a Non-Resident Fellow with Defense Priorities.
Harris is the author of Why America Can’t Retrench (And How It Might) (Polity Press) and co-author of Deterrence Gap: Avoiding War in the Taiwan Strait (US Army War College Press). He has published more than 40 articles and chapters, and over 250 additional features, blogs, op-eds, and reviews.
His peer-reviewed work has appeared in journals such as Asian Perspective, Asian Security, Chinese Journal of International Politics, International Affairs, International Political Sociology, International Politics, Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs, Marine Policy, Parameters, Political Science Quarterly, Review of International Studies, Survival, and Third World Quarterly.
