A. M. Leonard

Award winning author A.M.Leonard is a lifetime New Yorker, raised on a small farm surrounded by a Noah's Ark variety of animals, plenty of music and thousands of acres of wild forest to explore. She has worked as a kitchen designer, news article writer, substitute teacher, and apartment manager, but perhaps her most unusual job was raising fleas for research. She lives near Ithaca, NY with her ultra running husband, a McNab collie, a yellow lion of a cat, and two wonderful horses.
